Speak Up, Sing Out! Music Contest

Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights formerly hosted the Speak Up, Sing Out! Music Contest in partnership with the Grammy Museum. The contest called on students in grades 6-12 to write original songs that took a stand against human rights abuses around the world. Submissions were judged by a panel of music industry professionals who had worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, and Kelly Clarkson.

The Speak Up, Sing Out! Music Contest was discontinued in 2023. For any questions, please email sttp@rfkhumanrights.org.
